If you are a long time follower of me or this blog, I have to ask… what’s wrong with you? But if you are, you may also be familiar with a local Boston band, The Ballroom Thieves.
If you are not familiar with them, I urge you to get familiar with them. I first became aware of them as the percussionist was our waiter a few years ago. He gave me the band’s card that night and I went home and looked them up. Needless to say, I liked what I found.
Thanks to some frenetic touring, the Thieves have garnered a growing following here in Boston as well as in pockets across the US. They have a couple of EPs out and just this past Tuesday they released their full length debut, A Wolf in the Doorway.
I urge you to check them out. Links to all their assorted web presences can be found on their website. If you like what you hear, plop down the money for an LP or a CD. Look up an upcoming show. Buy the album on iTunes. I’ve got no skin in the game here, just really want to see them “make it”.
