Under the Lights at Rockland Veteran’s Memorial Stadium
My boy’s 13 & 14 year old Junior League team had a game last night at the stadium. We are very lucky to have such a great field to play on. We would not have gotten the game in if we didn’t have the lights to play under. It was cool and misty, but the boys’ bats and gloves were hot. They won 14-4.
That’s my boy on the mound. Only pitched 2/3 of an inning in relief, but picked an inherited runner off and struck out the one batter he faced. They came in and scored a bucket of runs to close out the game by slaughter rule.
